Yeah, I know it, but "there is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path" :)

I thought a few times about just scrapping everything and starting over with MVP, but that doesn't seem to be possible at this stage - too much work already went into it.

if you haven't already, you can read up on the sunk cost fallacy...
But your work probably is useful work that needs to be done either way, so this doesn't apply here.
